Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to deliver our workshops, retreats and shop experience:

• Account details — name, email address, phone number, and (optionally) date of birth when you create a TerraPeeps account or sign in with Google.
• Booking details — the experiences you book, any dietary preferences, emergency contact and health notes you choose to share.
• Order details — items purchased, shipping address, and order history for the Ritual Collection.
• Payment details — payment information is handled directly by our payment providers (currently Ziina and Stripe). TerraPeeps does not store your full card or wallet number.
• Technical data — device type, browser, IP address, and standard log data collected automatically when you visit the site.

• To create and manage your account.
• To process bookings, orders, refunds and dispatch shop items.
• To send booking confirmations, calendar invites and post-experience follow-ups.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer care.
• To send newsletters or WhatsApp community broadcasts (only if you’ve opted in — you can turn these off any time from Account → Notification Preferences).
• To keep our services safe, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

We rely on the following lawful bases:

• Contract — to fulfil your booking or shop order.
• Consent — for marketing emails, WhatsApp broadcasts and any optional data (e.g. birthday).
• Legitimate interest — to keep the site secure, improve our services and prevent abuse.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records (e.g. tax invoices).

We never sell your data. We share limited data with a small set of trusted processors that help us run TerraPeeps:

• Ziina and Stripe — to securely process payments.
• Resend — to deliver transactional and (opt-in) marketing emails.
• Google — if you sign in with your Google account, only your name and email are shared with us.
• Cloud hosting — our platform is hosted on secure managed infrastructure.
• Facilitators & partners — only when strictly necessary to run your booked experience (e.g. dietary notes shared with a retreat kitchen).

Some of our processors may be located outside the UAE. When this is the case, we rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent protections to keep your data safe.

Account and booking records are kept for as long as you have an account with us, plus a reasonable period afterwards to fulfil legal, accounting and reporting obligations. Marketing preferences are respected until you opt out.

Under UAE Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law) and comparable regulations, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
• Object to certain uses of your data.
• Ask us to transfer your data in a portable format.

TerraPeeps is intended for adults 18 and over. Some experiences may be open to minors accompanied by a guardian — in those cases, the guardian is responsible for providing consent.
